Comets have been astronomers’ favorite object of study for centuries. They are associated both with magic (the Star of Bethlehem) and with doom (when predicting the fall of a kingdom). Nowadays, we know comets are made of the primordial matter that formed the universe but never managed to fuse into something else. They are wandering memories of our origins, which we’ve longed to catch and turn into our lucky stars.
