The Listenting Post, 2021Molong marble, stainless steel185 x 28 x 22 cmThe Listening Post is comprised of three stacked stones roughly the size of historical mile markers of roads and public thoroughfares of old. There is a long tradition of listening/whispering stones as consolation receptacles for our fervent prayers, wishes and complaints. With so many public monuments tone deaf to the times, and online debates so shouty, its a wishful thought to have something that simply listens.
